Lost and Found: If you lose it, or find it, we'll post it. Many items were actually returned to their owners through this site in 2006. Bravo for all those truly honest fisher folks out there. If you lose something, or find something, its best for me to track it by email notes. I keep a seperate file just for this stuff. Found: Tan waterproof box of bugs. Mainstream Opening weekend. Lost: SA Streamer box at Dam 4 Opening weekend. Found: Cabala's outfit. Found: Oakley sunglasses at Keystone Opening Day 2008. Lost: Ross Canyon #3 Reel, with sink tip line.... roof top drive away. Lost: T & T Rod, with Hardy Reel. In the river below Stephan Bridge. Found: Small, clear box of flies at Dam 4. Found: Nice pair of wading shoes left at Guides Rest. Lost: Orvis T-3, Far & Fine...roof top drive away, around Canoe Harbor. Lost: Wedding band.... thick.... just below Stephan Bridge. Found: Complete outfit from obvious roof top drive away at Smith Bridge. June 23rd. Found: Orvis outfit, at Stephan Bridge Landing. Found: Wedding band, as in ring, at Wakeley Bridge Canoe launch. Or maybe there was a divorce on the spot, after an unhappy canoe adventure! Lost: Battenkill Mid Arbor III spare spool, titanium color somewhere down below lower Highbanks in the Mason Tract. Lost: Orvis Zero G rod, with Gunnison Reel. Car top drive away, along upper South Branch. May 20th. Lost: May 5th @ Deward, TU access stairs, green plastic fly box full of bugs. 2006 Hold overs... Found: Fly rod and reel.... main front parking lot of the Lodge. Someone drove off... Found: Wading staff in Mainstream up by Keystone. Lost: Battenkill 5/6 reel in the parking lot area of Guides Rest. Lost: Net in the swamp above Guides Rest. Lost: Orvis Zero G outfit left at Parmalee Landing one busy Saturday night. We know where it belongs. Found: Complete outfit, hanging in the trees between Conners and Mc Masters. Lost: Compete outfit, Winston with Ross reel. Upper Thunder Bay River North of McCornick Lake. Dirve away... Lost: Wheatley Fly Box, black, full of hex.. near the junction of Main and South Branches. Lost: Orvis outfit maybe left on car roof. Sheep Ranch above Lovells. Gift from the wife... owner would love to have the rod back. |
