Events

Fly-fishing for many of us is more than a mere sport. It is a culture, a tradition, a part of who we are and what we believe in. To that end, Gates Au Sable Lodge wishes to always promote and be part of, our fly-fishing culture.

Each year we host multiple events, ranging from organized fly-fishing instructional events, to small contests that bring us together in art and sometimes more importantly, humor!

Probably our most important event each year is the annual Fall River Cleanup. Organized by the Anglers of the Au Sable, and hosted by Gates Au Sable Lodge, among others. We come together each fall to ensure our resources are here for future generations, and to share stories and food...
